Refund Policy
This version, released on Jan 30, 2023, came into effect immediately. Please check the previous version of the Policy here.
To create a favorable business environment and improve the services of SourcingCat.com, SourcingCat hereby issues the general return and refund policy.
This Policy is applicable to all SourcingCat users.
1. General Terms
SourcingCat reserves the right to update the terms when necessary, and the new version will be released on SourcingCat.com with immediate effect. The distributor is advised to check the Policy regularly to stay updated.
For after-sales issues, distributors should submit a refund/reshipment request within 30 days of the delivery. After 30 days, SourcingCat will not accept any refund or reshipment request.
Once the distributor files the after-sales request, the distributor needs to submit evidence to SourcingCat. SourcingCat will investigate the case and make a decision within 7 business days. The decision made by SourcingCat is final.
2. Order Cancellation
Before an order is shipped out, the distributor has the right to apply for the order cancellation. The distributor can get a full refund or partial refund depending on the order status.
- Before the order is processed by the warehouse, the distributor can get a full refund;
- After payment, any order for custom products can't be cancelled;
- After payment, any private inventory order can't be cancelled;
- After the order is processed by the warehouse, the distributor can't cancel the order.
3. Loss in Transit
If the products are lost in transit, the distributor can request a refund if he/she has fully refunded the customer within 30 days of loss. SourcingCat will investigate the case and make a decision within 7 business days.
4. Untimely Delivery
For orders not delivered within 30 days, the distributor can request a full refund with valid proof that the customer has been fully refunded. SourcingCat will investigate the case and make a decision within 7 business days.
5. Damaged/Incorrect Items
Upon receipt, if the distributor finds out that products are damaged or incorrect, the distributor should submit a refund/reshipment request within 7 business days of delivery with valid proof (photos or videos). SourcingCat will investigate the case and make a decision within 7 business days.
- If the product is incorrect or destroyed, SourcingCat will provide a full refund;
- If the package is severely damaged, SourcingCat will provide a full refund or reshipment;
- If the package is partially damaged, SourcingCat will provide a partial refund.
6. Delivery Disputes
In case the order is marked as delivered, but the end customer claims that he/she hasn't received it, the distributor should contact the last-mile carrier first to confirm the delivery status. If the carrier confirms that the package is lost, SourcingCat will provide a full refund or reshipment.
For YunExpress and WANB orders arriving 30+ days after estimated time, SourcingCat will refund or reship the order.
7. Returns
For orders fulfilled by SourcingCat, we don't require anyone to return anything because the international shipping cost for returning the product exceeds the product cost.
8. Force Majeure
SourcingCat takes no responsibility for any product damage or shipping delay caused by irresistible force such as natural disasters, epidemic, virus, war, government actions, or any other events beyond SourcingCat's control.
9. Unacceptable Disputes
SourcingCat will not accept refund or reshipment requests for the following reasons:
- End customer doesn't like the product;
- The distributor ordered the wrong item or wrong quantity;
- The distributor provided the wrong shipping address;
- Processing time delays (the order is still within the estimated processing time);
- Shipping time delays (the order is still within the estimated shipping time);
- The distributor wants to change the shipping address after the order is shipped;
- The end customer refused to accept the package;
- The distributor didn't provide valid proof for the refund request.
